Fresh Start is a scheme specifically aimed at those individuals who through either their own criminal conviction or the criminal conviction of a family member or partner may have difficulty obtaining insurance cover.

Most insurers will refuse cover if the proposer has a criminal conviction. This also applies if the proposer's partner or anybody else residing at the premises has a criminal conviction.

The scheme aims to provide a strictly private and confidential means of ensuring that this difficulty, in most cases, can normally be overcome.

Fresh Start can provide insurance cover for: Household Buildings Insurance Cover for Buildings and Unoccupied Premises. Landlords Buildings Insurance Cover for Buildings owned by the proposer which are rented out to a tenant. Household Contents Insurance General Contents which can be extended to cover items away from home Motor Insurance Comprehensive and third party cover is available and can be extended to include breakdown cover and legal expenses. Commercial Insurance An extensive range of commercial products are available including Property Insurance, Liability and other business insurance.
